Okay didn't see that coming. Nice plottwist, suppose was too busy with the impression this was squid game inspired survival game to realize this could be genjutsu especially how easily they were transported to these locations...
I really like Rokuro's development, attacks and design! He looks very unique the infecting worm is deadly, and the extra detail for irises was nice. Plot got very thick, ominous when sarada inspected the anbu, but funny it was going on between kiseru and boruto exactly how the anbu described kiseru being mentally burdened....
The extra movements when they were rolling over was funny this episode. And shamo broke 4th wall saying he is side character to Boruto! 😆😲

Not much of a plot twist, they had no room plot- and universe-wise to have any other conclusion than a simulation. Everything else would be too unbelievable and incoherent with the series up to date.

Essentially there people performed tasks just for their survival (well, until this episode twist that all was genjutsu), while in "Squid game" chars was poor people who was forced to fight for monetary award, so all of them was willing to participate to certain extent?

OK, I admit... that twist at the end, I did NOT see it coming. This might just be one of the best anime-only arcs Boruto has produced. Way better than Cho-Cho focused arcs, that's for sure.

Confirmed that this was a shared simulation. Though the quality of these episodes... Lack of security suggests whoever is running the experiments is not too evil, but there is also the question of where all the disappeared groups of people go. So...
